Alumni of our Interaction Design program went to Ottawa to present their app called Mellow at the CiCan Symposium (Accelerating Innovation through applied research). Mellow helps the youth of the Peel region (outside Toronto) to deal with crisis in their personal life. The Mellow app is the result of a three year research and design development done with George Brown College School of Design Interaction Design students, GBC Research and Innovation, CAMH and the Research Council of Canada. The rumour has it that the team met the prime minister Justin Trudeau.
